The duties undertaken by the Field Engineering team are determined by the requirements of our clients. If you need a Cisco ASA Firewall installed over multiple sites, access to a Cisco VOIP Engineer or 21CN Circuit upgrades then our Cisco Engineers are at your disposal.
Deployment Range:
- 4CornerNetworks Cisco Engineers to work alongside Client’s Field Engineers
- Assume project lead from transitional roll out to completion
- Provide 24/7/365 support to all clients UK wide
- Provision of Out of Hours Cisco Support when required
Field Engineer Responsibilities:
- Provision of 1st & 2nd line Support
- Strive to achieve excellence in service delivery at all times
- Incidents & service requests to follow SLA’s at all times
- Deploy complex network solutions
- Cisco Engineers to work with BT & other Providers
- Implement Change Controls/Technical Approval
- Understanding of Technical Documents
Cisco Engineer Tasks:
- CCNA qualification or equivalent
- Experience of Routing Protocols, including BGP, OSPF
- Extensive Experience with TCP/IP protocols
- In depth knowledge of Ethernet/L2 Switching
- Experience in providing WAN/LAN infrastructure support
- SNMP monitoring product experience
- Access to SHDSL, ADSL, Wireless etc.
- Knowledge of Windows Server & Desktop Technologies
- Remote Access/VPN Technologies
- Verifiable Security Clearance/Valid CRB
